Terms, Conditions & Returns

PRICE – The price of the Goods shall be the price given on the date you place your order and will be confirmed on your invoice. The price of the Goods will include VAT at the prevailing rate. Prices correct at time of print. Errors and omissions excepted.

DATE FOR PAYMENT – You shall pay for the Goods in full either at the time you place the order or, if a deposit has been paid, at least 7 days prior to delivery being made, with cleared funds, otherwise the delivery date may be cancelled and re-scheduled.

ORDER CHANGES – Should you wish to change the order or delivery date, you should contact us no later than 7 days prior to your original agreed delivery date to enable us to perform the Contract.

LOSS OR DAMAGE TO GOODS ON DELIVERY – We recommend you examine the goods to check that they are as ordered and undamaged within 48 hours from the day after delivery. Please open each box and check that everything is as ordered and appears in good condition. Bathroom People will replace goods free of charge that have been incorrectly supplied or damaged in transit during their delivery. We will arrange for a replacement item to be delivered and the damaged item to be collected. All damaged Goods, wherever possible, should be returned in their original packaging. A consumer cannot claim for damage he causes or if he simply changes his mind about wanting the goods. A consumer cannot claim for defects that are brought to his attention before the sale or if the consumer examines the goods before purchase and any defects should have been obvious.

REFUNDS AND RETURNS – you must not start using them and they must not be installed. The goods must be returned in ‘as new’ condition and in their original packaging. Requests to return unwanted goods must be made in writing to info@bathroompeople.co.uk and include the product details, copy of store invoice and reason for return. All requests must be received within 14 days of your invoice date and will be subject to a 25% re-stocking charge.
Many of our products are classed as ’special order’, this means the products are specifically ordered for individual customers and as such any return of these items is not permitted unless the product is damaged or not fit for purpose.
Please note that only full boxes of tiles will be refunded. Simply return the items within 30 days of receipt of goods in their original condition, we reserve the right not to refund if the goods are deemed as not being in a re-saleable condition.

GUARANTEE – All products come with a guarantee included at no extra cost. The length depends on the product and the manufacturer / supplier. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase please contact us and we will try to resolve any issues that you have as quickly as possible and if necessary we will explain how to follow our complaints procedure.

RETENTION OF TITLE – Ownership of goods shall remain in the company until full payment has been received for all goods comprised in this contract. If any goods are-re-sold before payment is made the Company’s right of ownership shall be transferred to the proceeds of sale or to the claim for such proceeds.

Refunds will only be processed once the goods have arrived with us and we have inspected their condition and deemed them to be in suitable condition for resale.
