Frequently Asked Questions
Your questions? Answered.
We are a supply only company – we don’t employ any installers. However, over the past 19 years we have built strong relationships with local installers who can offer a fitting service. We will talk you through how that works during your appointment should you need that service. Alternatively, we can help design your room(s) and just sell you the goods at very competitive prices, leaving you free to install the bathroom yourself or arrange your own fitters.
Collectively we have over 50 years of experience, we’ve been designing bathrooms of all shapes and sizes day-in-day-out so you’ll be blown away with what we can do for you. Take a look at some of our work to see what we’ve done for other clients
We ask you to bring in a rough sketch with sizes for your initial visit. Once we have confirmed everything and you choose to use one of the installers who do work for us, we’ll send a surveyor out to check your sizes and carry out a full survey of your bathroom.
How long is a piece of string? Many factors can affect how long it takes. The size of your room, the complexity of the design and goods chosen, the tiling patterns etc. As a rule of thumb, we say have in your head 2 full weeks. We will of course discuss your individual project during your appointment and give you a more accurate guideline.
You will have 2 costs to consider. The cost of the goods you choose and the cost of the installation (The installers we work with charge from £3,250 for a full rip out and install). We have a wide range of products on display from high quality, ‘entry level’ goods for the budget conscious where a full supply and install can start from as little as £7,000 to the ‘top-end’ product from some of the world’s leading bathroom brands where some of our customers spend upwards of £20,000 on a bathroom/en-suite. In our business, there’s no such thing as ‘average’ but I’d say our average customer spends in the region of £8,000-£9,000 for a full supply and install.
You can either pop into the showroom for a first initial look around however, if you are looking to have a design consultation or get an idea of costs/quotation, we urge you to make an appointment in advance to avoid disappointment. Our design appointments can last 2 or 3 hours so you may arrive at the showroom and our colleagues are busy with other customers and may not be able to see you hence why we strongly recommend you to book some time with one of our designers in advance.
We could be here all day, there are hundreds of questions we could answer and I’m sure you have more specific questions than the general ones above so please get in touch if you need any advice and we’ll be happy to help.
